2. General information

We process personal data only where necessary to provide this website, operate the CarbPace beta list, collect prototype feedback and communicate with interested beta users.

This website does not use advertising trackers, marketing cookies or retargeting technologies. We use a simple, cookieless event tracking setup to understand how the CarbPace prototype is used and to improve the product.

3. Hosting

This website is hosted using Cloudflare Pages, a service provided by Cloudflare. When you visit this website, technical data such as your IP address, browser information, requested pages and access times may be processed in server logs for security and delivery purposes.

The processing is based on our legitimate interest in providing a secure, stable and fast website.

4. Usage analytics

We use a simple, self-hosted analytics setup to understand how visitors use the CarbPace prototype. This helps us improve the product and identify whether users are able to create fueling plans.

When you use the planner, certain interaction events may be stored, such as opening the product database, adding a product, generating a plan, copying or downloading a plan, or clicking the feedback or beta links.

We do not use cookies for this analytics setup and we do not store names, email addresses, product lists, fueling plans or other directly identifying information in our analytics database.

The following data may be processed: event name, page path, referrer host, screen width and timestamp.

The analytics database is hosted using Cloudflare D1 with EU jurisdiction. The processing is based on our legitimate interest in improving the CarbPace prototype and understanding usage in aggregated form.

5. Fonts

This website uses externally loaded fonts from Bunny Fonts. When the website is loaded, your browser may connect to Bunny Fonts servers in order to retrieve the font files. In this process, technical data such as your IP address may be transmitted.

The use of these fonts is based on our legitimate interest in a consistent and modern presentation of the website.

6. Beta signup and feedback forms

If you sign up for the CarbPace beta, we process the information you provide in the signup form. This may include your email address, your primary sport and your optional answer about fueling challenges.

If you submit feedback about the CarbPace prototype, we process the information you provide in the feedback form. This may include your answers about the prototype, your session, missing products or other feedback. If the form asks for an email address and you provide it, we may use it to follow up on your feedback.

The purpose of this processing is to inform you about the CarbPace beta, invite you to test early versions, collect feedback and better understand the needs of potential users.

The legal basis for sending beta-related emails is your consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us by email.

The beta signup and feedback forms are provided via Tally, a form service operated by Tally BV. The data entered into the forms is processed by Tally on our behalf.

7. Storage period

We store beta signup and feedback form data only for as long as it is needed for the CarbPace beta and early product development. If you withdraw your consent or request deletion, we will delete your data unless legal retention obligations require otherwise.

Usage analytics events are stored only for as long as they are useful for understanding and improving the CarbPace prototype. We review and delete analytics data when it is no longer needed for product development.

8. Your rights

You have the right to request access to your personal data, rectification, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability and objection to processing where applicable.

You also have the right to withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority.
